Jerrold is a great inspector. This review is for a pre-purchase inspection that took place in June. We did purchase the home inspected and waited to review after we hired specialists to address each of the findings in the report. Jerrold is professional and guided me through with advice at my level. No man-splaining, lol! Though my husband and I are first time home owners, we've done a share of projects involving our line of work to understand the findings. Any questionswere answered clearly and also found in the report. We got the report in 36 hours. Each finding was verified by a specialist after we closed (plumbing, electrician, restoration company, ceiling repair, stucco repair, and pest control). Our mold and termite inspectors were there at the same time as our home inspection. It sounded like they've all crossed paths before. We did plenty of research to get the best (you get what you pay for) and it was great to hear they were acquainted.

Whether that be going into the crawl space, in the attic, on the roof, etc. You'll never need to worry that things will go unnoticed, and he will be very upfront and blunt about the true nature of whatever the issue is. I found Scheidt Home Inspection through its good review on Yelp and I can confirm that I can highly recommend this company. The report is so detailed and specific with photos to show the actual deficiencies found. He explains the deficiencies very well. He completed the 75 pages report the next day! It's better to spend couple of hundreds for a home inspection than spending thousands of grands on a home for repairs in the future because it was not inspected professionally. The price is all worth it.
